Crossbridge hosted “Family Night” at Chick-fil-A tonight. What a great event!
We partnered with Tallahassee Police Department to provide Child ID cards for kids. It was cool to see 30 people from Crossbridge out serving families in our community. Thank you to all of you that came out and helped…with your help we provided ID cards for around 40 kids (Sorry, I don’t have the exact number). In addition to the cards, we also provided games, face painting, coloring & painting pages, and a quiz with prizes.
A HUGE “Thank You,” to TPD and Chick-fil-A for partnering with us for this event!
Thanks to Gabby for making the perfect Cookies & Cream Milkshake!
Rachael K gets our “Servant of The Night” award for being the recipient of massive baby puke that disturbingly resembled pancake batter!

One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism…
One Prayer.
What would you pray if God would answer one prayer for the church at large?
June 8th – 29th.

Here are some extremely random thoughts on this Sunday afternoon:
I am very excited about this new series, “One Prayer.”
We are really blessed with amazing musicians!
I LOVE THIS CHURCH!
Next time I am just sharing the Triple Dipper with Andrea and only eating the Shanghai Wings!
I really liked the new, simplified programs today. What do you think?
Am I the only one surprised by how quickly it got HOT in Tallahassee…Holy Cow, I am well done.
What is up with the lights? We finally get them installed and now we are blowing circuits…arrrrgghhh!
I love talking about the church and our call to be incarnational…I am excited to see where God is going with this!
It is amazing how fertile our church is…seems like every Sunday someone tells me they are expecting! Today it was twins…Good Grief people!
I LOVE…LOVE how God is answering our prayer to become more diverse!
I am anxious to read/hear the experiences of the other churches that are partnering with us in One Prayer. I hope that their experience was as awesome as ours was this morning.
I never dreamed that I would love riding a motorcyle…lovin’ it! Thanks David! Did I mention that it is HOT today!!
Dan did you plan to have an entire band made up of people with the name Chris? Brilliant!
Why do I know grammar, yet insist to speak improperly…”drugged”…really…AGAIN!
Why can I fall asleep on the couch on Sunday afternoon, but if I go to bed, I just lay there?
WOW…tomorrow Andrea and I celebrate 19 years of marital bliss! It is hard to believe that I am that blessed, as well as, hard to believe that I am that OLD!
Andrea…I Love you and thanks for being my partner and best friend!

I am really excited about our upcoming series, “One Prayer.”
This will be an amazing opportunity to partner with hundreds of other churches around the globe.
The first week, this Sunday – June 8th, we will talk about becoming the church that God is calling us to be in our community. The following three weeks we will hear from some great teachers from all over the country. The One Prayer partnership goes beyond just the Sunday morning experience as well, as we will collect an offering that will be combined with all the offerings from the other churches to support several great ministries outside of the United States.
Here is a link to the site for “One Prayer.”
What an awesome opportunity to intentionally stand together with Christians from all over the world as we strive to be the answer to Jesus’ prayer in John 17:
I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. John 17:20-23
Please join me in praying for this exciting time in the life of the church!
